I wanted to take a moment and tell you what a wonderful staff and facility you have in your North Salem Hotel. We recently scheduled a group of food bankers from around the state for a 3 day conference in this hotel and thanks to your wonderful staff the meeting was a great success.

The meeting was a logistical nightmare as we had visits scheduled with over 90 legislators, a meet and greet breakfast, a publicity event and then all the regular business meeting stuff. Your staff was accommodating to every request. They not only had a wonderful breakfast served, but they came in half hour early to have it ready to meet our time schedule. We were able to use your boardroom and meeting space and the refreshments your hotel provided were always fresh, and timely. There were multiple changes to reservations that they took right in stride with never an impatient word. The hotel was very clean and very nicely decorated.

I arrange these meetings every quarter in locations around the state and I have rarely had such a frustration-free event. Your staff were always friendly greeting us, resolving any issues and full of information about local restaurants, directions, etc. Of particular note were Charlie and Winston. You have two very wonderful ambassadors for your company in those staff. Thanks again and look forward to doing business with you in the future.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is a letter of commendation for the wonderful job you do in assisting visitors to your beautiful city. I would like to add a heartfelt thank you for your kindness. It recently became necessary for me to visit Salem to say good-bye to a very special family member who was ill and in hospice care. I called your office and spoke to a kind lady who was also extremely knowledgeable. I needed directions and the lady gave me not only exact verbal directions, but also followed up by sending me visitors guide and a detailed map of Salem which she was kind enough to highlight with my route. I can’t begin to tell you how valuable her kindness and knowledge were to me at that difficult time. My stay at the Phoenix Inn NE was exceptional and I was once more taken aback by the kindness of the people who work there. The room was very nice as was the Continental Breakfast the next morning.

To all of you who made our events successful!
Thank you is not enough for all that you did to make our visitors’ stay comfortable during our week’s stay. All comments were positive, the rooms were great, and everyone enjoyed their stay in Salem. You definitely went “above and beyond the call” with your service here. I would really like to thank Jill for making a “personal” call to her grandfather to see what the weather was like on the Oregon Coast. This really helped our group plan ahead. Also I would like to thank Kristi for “jumping in” and taking care our strawberry break function on Friday June 25th. And Charlie, you did an outstanding job with the break times in making sure everything went well, so thank you for your attentiveness here.
