A huge part of Portland’s Rose Festival, the Starlight Parade is a one-of-a-kind parade where every part of the parade is illuminated in its own unique way. From radiant floats, gleaming marching bands, and bright marching groups, the Starlight Parade attracts around 250,000 spectators every year and features parade entries from local participants to folks who even fly in for the event. This is a great example of a community coming together to celebrate the history and camaraderie of the great city of Portland.
